  I am extremely grateful for the opportunity and support I received from Beliza Perez during my time working as her volunteer intern assistant. I had the opportunity to help prepare activities for client sessions, as well as attend events that taught me a lot about therapy and private practice as a career path. Beliza is a wonderful teacher because I felt I could always ask questions. Additionally, she modeled a healthy work-life balance, and she is fierce in a good way. I am very grateful that my career path as a therapist started with my experiences interning for Beliza, and I highly recommend her as a teacher or supervisor!

  I was fortunate to have Beliza as my supervisor during my two year internship to become a LMHC. I can't say enough about her! She fueled my love for working with children as I was able to see and learn from her knowledge, experience and passion. She supported me through ups and downs in my process to become a therapist and I am forever grateful. I'd recommend her highly as a supervisor as well as a therapist. She's truly one of the best!
