  I have been a patient at Attune Functional Medicine for a year now. I am truly blessed to have found Dr. Alison Egeland there. I had been dealing with thyroid, hormone, nutrient deficiencies, chronic fatigue, acid reflux, insomnia and gut issues. I knew that I needed to take my health into my own hands and this was not how my health was suppose to be the rest of my life. Dr. Egeland has significantly changed my life and health back to a much better place! I could not have improved my health this far without her hard work, dedication and guidance. She truly cares about her patients and works really hard at finding the root cause of your illness. I am a true believer and witness that functional medicine really does work! I have learned so much about how my body works and what I need to do to heal. I am really very happy with the care I have received this past year and I am so excited and looking forward to keep improving my health with the loving support of everyone there! It has really been a pleasure and a life changing experience for me!

  A little over a year ago I decided I’d had enough. I had enough of antibiotics for acne that I eventually became immune to. I had enough of painful bloating and stomach pain every time I ate something. I had enough with migraines and the doctor telling me that it’s common for women to begin experiencing migraines in their 30s…here have a pill. I’m active, I ate “healthy” and I was so tired and exhausted all of the time. So I quit the modern medicine approach and invested in me with the help of Dr. Ashley Biscoe at Attune Functional Medicine…and I am so glad that I did.
  Here is my journey so far:
  Of all the changes I knew I would have to make, I knew I ate “healthy”, so food was good for me. WRONG. Turns out those healthy foods out there aren’t so great for me. My body didn’t like what was still in them. I went Paleo. The best thing of all with this change is a whole new food world. BONUS! I lost the pesky 15lbs I’d been trying to get rid of for a couple of years. The ultimate result is that I don’t have the stomach pain that I lived with so long.
  I quit taking all medications for acne, and yes there were a few beginning breakouts that were hard to take, but now I rarely have a breakout. If I do have a cyst begin it’s small and vanishes quickly. I recently went to the grocery store with no makeup on for the first time in years. That was a big deal for me.
  And migraines? Non-existent. I don’t have them anymore. I can’t even remember the last time I had a minor headache.
  I highly recommend anyone looking for an ND to see Dr. Biscoe. She has been amazing in helping me regain my health and my life and getting rid of everything that causes me pain.

  I would highly recommend this practice. Everyone there is so kind and helpful. I turned to a functional medicine approach after spending $6300+ on medical testing only to be told "there's nothing wrong." After 1 1/2 years of being sick, I decided to try the functional medicine approach. After 6 months of being on an individualized program, my health has improved dramatically. Dr. Egeland is very knowledgeable and loves what she does. She's also is very kind, understanding, and encouraging. She's very involved and continues to monitor my progress; and I can't say enough about how grateful I am to her. I highly recommend her.

  I highly recommend this practice. Both Dr. Biscoe, and Dr. Egeland are Brilliant and Generous. Not only can you tell they both love what they do but they are good at it. I personally worked with Dr. Egeland and my health improved drastically!!!!

  My experience at Attune functional medicine is beyond excellent. Dr. Biscoe and Dr. Egland have a true passion for helping patients. They are both extremely knowledgeable with rooting out any health problem you may be experiencing. The new patient questionnaire is quite in depth but it is for good reason, both doctors want to get to the root cause of you symptoms. If you are not willing to put some effort into lifestyle changes and just want a magic pill this is not for you.
