  The LZR Focused coaching program helped me immensely during my transition from high school to college. I found new, efficient methods to complete tasks relating to school, and even my personal life. It provided a time-constraint to focus on nothing but the task at hand, so I learned how to manage time. I stayed focused, and I completed assignments within an hour, rather than falling off track and taking two hours. Being a teenager, it's easy to jump on my phone when I receive a notification, but this program showed me how to focus, and then I had free time for other areas of my life. Coach Culum is an amazing resource. He is flexible, open minded, dedicated, and passionate. One of the best decisions I've made was to apply his coaching tools to my to everyday life. He is a true expect in his field, and I personally recommend LZR Focused to anyone, especially first-year college students.

  My daughter was in the Academic Life Coaching program from the middle of her sophomore year in college to the middle of her junior year. She learned how to prioritize what she needs to accomplish in order to be successful and happy. She realized that when she is able to look at everything she needs to accomplish, and make lists and a workable plan, she is more successful and less stressed. She is able to recognize that something might be tough, but she is able to handle it. Prior to coaching, she would procrastinate and then "fall apart" at the realization that she had so much to get done. Now I see her saying, "This is going to be tough, but I can do it." Culum is kind, punctual and organized. He is able to guide in way that ensures accountability, while at the same time fosters a personal sense of urgency.

  The greatest area of value that I’ve witnessed is my son's greater sense of accountability. Prior to his enrollment in the Academic Life Coaching program, which he completed in the 8th grade, he had some difficulty with taking responsibility for his actions. I’ve noticed a real change in his behavior. He’s still a teenager, and the excuses can still flow like a river, but the pushback to get him to understand his role in things has decreased dramatically. Also, my son's study habits have improved considerably. When he sits down and studies a subject, the results are impressive. I’m seeing a big difference in how he applies himself. As a coach, Culum got to know my son personally. He became a friend and confidant in his relationship with him

  Through her participation in the Academic Life Coaching Program, our daughter entered high school more confident and organized than she ever was in middle school. She is focused as never before on keeping ahead of her assignments, not falling behind, and having no missing assignments.

  I was in the Academic Life Coaching program during my sophomore year in high school. I grew into a more active, diligent, and organized student. I am also more organized in most other aspects of my life. I feel more confident about my future, staying in school, and graduating. Culum’s greatest strength as an academic life coach is that he is as engaged, if not more, as I am in my learning and my growth. This motivates me and gives me the support I need to make it through school. I will be in this program again next year.
