I've been suffering severe constant pain in my upper back/shoulder blade region since August. At it's worst, which is usually all the time, the pain goes right down my arm and around to my chest. This has made me totally disabled and unable to function. This has essentially taken over my life.
I've been to every doctor, every specialty, both here and N.Y. with little or no relief. I was diagnosed with a rare syndrome that causes the exact symptoms that I have been experiencing. The only thing that seemed to help were opioids and marijuana. Then I met Dr. Schelin who listened intently as I told him about my situation. He told me that he could help.
Let me preface this by saying I've been to many chiropractors over the years and thought I knew what to expect. Boy was I wrong. Season is not just a doctor, but in my opinion, he is a true "healer" who fully believes in his craft and abilities. He shows genuine caring and has an "innate" competence to care for his patients.
Lately, I've started to have "good days" with reduced pain and better motion. Dr. Schelin has allowed me to get outside and try to enjoy life a little. I am off the opioids and limiting the use of muscle relaxants. He continues to make me feel better like none of the other doctors I have seen. There may be a chance of getting to New York for the holidays. With his help, I will make this happen.
