Oakland’s Most Powerful is a kind and friendly community of people who are genuinely interested in improving their health, wellness, and their body’s abilities.
The three coaches, Luis, Melissa, and Alexei, are some of the most knowledgeable fitness experts I have ever met. They are constantly expanding their knowledge and bringing every new insight into the gym with them.

Exercising has always been a solo endeavor for me, trying my best to learn proper form on YouTube or following a list of directions on paper—but ultimately feeling like I’m just improvising. My experience at Oakland’s Most Powerful has proven time and again the value of having face-to-face feedback from real experts who care about how I feel while I’m learning and understand how to break down movements if I’m having trouble learning technique.

Fantastic trainers! They certainly know their trade, which made them very good at their job. But their passion and love for what they do is truly inspiring and makes them exceptional coaches. Always a pleasure to spend time at the gym. A caring/fun place to really get excellent results.
